PDA Software
As today’s workforce increasingly does the job from locations other than desks at corporate headquarters, HighTower has created popular PDA-friendly modules that are compatible with Sage MAS 90 ERP and Sage MAS 200 ERP. But as our users redefine their corporate spaces, we field requests for modifications to Timekeeper, Multi-Bin Advanced Distribution, ScanBlaster, and Remote Salesperson PDA.
One of our clients, for example, uses Pocket PCs to conduct real-time inventories in its greenhouses. Wireless access points punctuate the steamy space. The customer scanned bin locations, drawing upon the HighTower Multi-Bin Advanced Distribution enhancement, but it wanted an instantaneous inventory lookup. We created a custom application that calls up inventory totals and locations when the Pocket PC user scans a bin number on a greenhouse product.
Our tailor-made modification highlighted not only our resourcefulness in meeting new technology no matter where it’s implemented. It also made use of a direct link to the customer’s Sage MAS 90 system. And when we can draw upon the Inventory module, we can write PDA applications that process inventory adjustments across all other modules, including Purchase Order, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger... the list goes on.
