ScanBlaster provides a quick, simple, and cost-effective way to track inventory goods during shipping, receiving, and purchasing by scanning product codes. ScanBlaster runs on most Symbol-branded or Symbol compatible Palm OS devices with a bar code reader attached, giving you greater flexibility in your choices of hardware. Plus, you can run other Palm OS applications on the same device that runs ScanBlaster.
ScanBlaster integrates with the MAS 90 Bar Code module, and can be integrated with Sage MAS 90 Inventory Management (with or without Sage MAS 90 Job Cost), Sage MAS 90 Purchase Order, Sage MAS 90 Sales Order, and HighTower's Multi-Bin Advanced Distribution. Employees simply scan codes on purchase order sheets, sales order sheets, picking sheets, and inventory items, alleviating manual entry, eliminating errors, and providing quicker service. For example, a warehouse employee can quickly pull inventory items for orders without delaying shipments because of data entry into Sage MAS 90 or 200 software. Instead of updating the Sage MAS 90 or 200 system after each item in an order, workers scan the information and upload the data into their Sage MAS 90 or 200 system as needed. All data on the Palm OS device is synchronized with their Sage MAS 90 or 200 system in just minutes - and there is no need to process inventory, purchase orders, and sales orders separately.
Plus, it is proven to be less expensive to use a Palm OS handheld scanning device rather than purchasing expensive bar code scanning equipment!
